We carefully plan each piece, selecting quality components and distinct woods to make the perfect combinations. Our process begins with the careful selection of the finest, distinct and interest hardwoods and burls. The inspiring grain patterns help us determine the best cut patterns for our pieces. Many of our pieces have been carved on a lathe, a skill that takes many years to master. We create bowls and vessels on the lathe as well as many function items. Our keepsake boxes are cut in a manner to allow the grain patterns to flow continuously. We often split board to make book match patterns for the tops of our keepsake boxes and front for jewelry boxes.
